Me and some guys just took the record in -normal eye for an eye playing a public game.

Now I have a problem that it won't accept my submission, stating that I don't have the newest version...

This is the record we beat:
Eye for an Eye 77.295.828 Ver: 5.22, Level: 40, Players: 4,2 Mr.x_Da_Unknown,tddabrain,vidbolt,periannath

You see that the version there is 5.22. There might lie some problem in that? I downloaded 5.44 from this very site so it shouldn't be any problem, other that maybe possibly the detection system is trying to find the map in some specific folder, but...

While I'm on it I might say thanks for a great map I'm happy to have unlocked the pro builder now. I think the health care something team is probably the best team for the inner circle.

you have to use 5.44 now. the highscore in eye for an eye was made while 5.22 was the newest version the highscores stay as long as someone has a higher highscore

uhmmm... you're completely missing the point.
Maybe I need to clarify:
I have a problem with the detection device saying I don't have the newest version, when I indeed do.

you dont just have to have the map on your computer, you have to use it, if you want to create a new highscore

I have the newest version, 5.44, downloaded from this very site and that's the map we played as well. We did *NOT* play .38 or whatever you might think.

You can submit ONLY games , that are played with Shopping Maul 5.44.


Each other version can´t be uploadet.

If you're really having an issue. Delete all versions of 5.44 you may have, and DL just the one on the website.

Regardless, is your score higher than the one up there? I mean, I hope this argument is worth anybody's time.

It would be interesting if you post the mapname here. I doubt you wont be able to submitt scores with a Map called shoppingmaul[1]5.[1]44 fixed or so.

I fixed it myself by recopying the map into maps\download which seems to be the autodetection's target. It shouldn't have been corrupt though so it's kind of weird.

What's weirder still is what is the problem on forums? Talk about lack of respect. You automatically assume that I'm some idiot and act all high and mighty. Is it because you are German? 'cus I had the same problem on eeve forums.
No - I didn't have any other map name than shopping_maul... which is the normal. Like I said, I downloaded normally from this site.
Yes - I did have a high score, but you uploaded a better one since I made this thread. It's still not a bad score for a public game like that without using creep juggling etc, but rather playing as the map was thought to be.
What I mean with "thought to be":
Ok that people play with deny etc in DOTA because then you compete vs other players but I hate people who abuse play in TD's etc where you play vs AI that can't hit back. It really is abuse, imo.

Ummm, take a breather, and then take a glance at what the people said. They are just discussing some issues that may be preventing you from doing so. Seeing that other people have already posted high scores, etc... it would be logical to think that it was something you did or are doing wrong that is preventing you from being able to submit ur high score.

As this is the Discussion & Ideas board, there was discussion, however no one was acting all "high and mighty". I don't mean to make a fuss about this, but you seem to be the only one making aggressive comments; mistaking them for fools because your own comments aren't making sense. Nor is everyone German (such as myself).

I think the people in forums are still nice players. Nobody would call you cheater or hacker without having proof.
